It's true, I can't. In one hour of work (after the feds take their share) I make $6.83. I could get some chips and salsa. Bullshit. Man cannot live on corn chips alone. Add to that depressing number the fact that I work in what may be the only kitchen in Springfield that doesn't allow shift meals for BOH employees and my two shifts this week and all you get is crippling poverty. If I'm lucky this pay period, I might clear $180. That's not even enough to pay my rent.

Fuck my job, my finances, my life. Where do I go from here? How many jobs are they saying Obama created in the last 6 years? How many of them do I have to have to make ends meet?

Lets all run away. Leave a trail of smoldering embers in our wake. If they expect us to kill ourselves for minimum wage then I expect to be able to kill them instead and take whats mine. Clicl-Clack!!!

The feeling of cold concrete under my feet is the only sensation that seems to calm my nerves at the moment. I would rather it be the feeling of cold dirt in Taney County but we can save that for the hole they throw me in later. Theres a lot to handle this time of year and it seems that it just adds up the more years you make it. Christmas started 3 months ago and I still haven't gotten over labor day. There are Hospital bills piling up and a lack of hours and fair pay at work prevent me from chipping away at them. Seasonal depression sets in and we are all just time bombs, some with lengthier fuses than others. It's gonna be a real rough winter and theres nothing I can do about it. Id buy mittens but I can't afford to.

Maybe this will help. Probably not. Maybe I need a vacation. Maybe I need to get a new hobby. I could start building large statues made from garbage. Theres plenty of it around. Who knows?
